Appointment Setting

THE CLIENT: Leading Financial and Business Advisor of Corporate Finance, Personal Finance and Accountancy services. Through the 32 UK based offices the client provides these services to a wide range of businesses from plc's to owner managed businesses.

THE CAMPAIGN CHALLENGE: To generate interest and appointments with 'high net worth' individuals to discuss financial services.

THE STRATEGY AND EXECUTION: The client was already in the process of mailing out 4,500 invitations and brought in Base Connections to carry out a number of follow up calls per recipient with the main aim of setting up an appointment.

Base Connections selected a suitable telemarketing team to cover this project and an Account Manager drafted a 'training brief' for the team, based on the client's requirements. The brief included call guidelines with key phrases and information to allow the team member to have a constructive conversation without forming a script.
